1. 誰人適合接受 Schroth 脊骨側彎治療法?

Schroth 脊骨側彎治療法是適合7-8歲或以上患有脊骨側彎症的人士。 任何脊椎側彎度數(Cobb Angle)、有或沒有佩戴矯形梏具、手術前，以 及手術後均可接受Schroth治療。

2. Schroth脊骨側彎治療法是否只適用於正在發育的小朋友身上?

不是。根據臨床經驗，Schroth脊椎側彎治療法是適用於成年人士及年紀偏大的人士，而且他們的脊骨側彎亦有明顯改善。可是，由於成年患者較遲接受治療，肌肉也較為堅硬，因此他們的療程時間也理應較長。

3. Schroth 脊骨側彎治療法可以保証改善我的側彎嗎?

在醫學上,沒有任何一種治療可以百份之一百保證對脊椎側彎症有成效, 包括手術, 側彎架或一些運動治療, 但如果可以長期做一些特定的 Schroth運動和Schroth呼吸技巧,大多數的患者都會看見或感受到自己外觀, X-RAY上的脊椎弧度或本身一些其他部位的痛 症也大大改善。

4. 如果我選擇接受Schroth脊骨側彎治療法，幾時會見到效果?

這要根據病人脊椎側彎的嚴重程度、位置，以及接受治療的頻密程度而定。我們大部分病人都會接受脊醫的建議每星期進行5-6次Schroth 的特定運動，每次30分鐘至1小時，大約1 個月後便會見到效果。
